Hi, I’m Chareese
a Product Designer currently pursuing a Master’s in Communication Design at Parsons in New York City.
Born in Vancouver and raised in Hong Kong, I bring a global perspective shaped by a background in Architecture and Information & Graphic Design from Northeastern University in Boston. My work blends systems thinking, branding, and UX to craft intuitive, research-driven experiences.
My practice sits at the intersection of design, technology, and social impact. From rebranding eco-friendly startups to designing and prototyping AI-driven digital products for music discovery and financial literacy, I focus on creating interfaces and experiences that are both meaningful and usable. I thrive on human-centered, research-driven design processes—translating everyday behaviors into insights that inform thoughtful solutions.
Beyond design, I stay active playing volleyball for The New School, weightlifting, and snowboarding in the winter. I also love hands-on creativity, whether sculpting with clay, experimenting with paint, or crafting gel-nail designs. These explorations fuel the curiosity and attention to detail I bring into every project.
